CEDD Signed Contract for Improvement Works for Hiking Facilities in Ngong Ping, Lantau

The Civil Engineering and Development Department signed a contract of about HK$ 9.98 million on 31 May 2021 with Adrian Construction Limited for improving hiking facilities along Lantau Trail Section 4 and Nei Lak Shan Country Trail in Ngong Ping.
The works mainly include:-
- enlarging an existing viewing platform on Nei Lak Shan Country Trail;
- constructing two new viewing platforms along Nei Lak Shan Country Trail;
- improving a section of Lantau Trail Section 4 of about 400 meter long;
- constructing a sitting-out area on Lantau Trail Section 4;
- constructing two camping platforms at Ngong Ping Campsite; and
- carrying out associated civil, landscaping works, etc.
The works commenced on 31 May 2021 for completion in 2022.
