What's New - CEDD Signed Contract for Provision of Sanitary Facilities at Pak Kung Au, Lantau 2024-01-9

The Civil Engineering and Development Department signed a contract of about HK$27.47 million on 9 January 2024 with K-Peak Company Limited for construction of sanitary facilities and assoicated hiking supporting facilities at Pak Kung Au, Lantau.

The works mainly include:

1. Demolition of existing barbeque site and provision of new hiking supporting facilities;
2. Construction of a new public toilet with wastewater treatment system and rainwater harvesting system; and
3. Landscaping and ancillary works.

The works commenced on 12 January 2024 for completion in Q1 2026.
