“Lantau Impression @ Ecology” Exhibition

To enhance public awareness of conservation, the Sustainable Lantau Office is organizing the "Lantau Impression @ Ecology" exhibition. The exhibition aims to provide citizens with a deeper understanding on Lantau Island's biodiversity and its ecological significance.
The exhibition centers around the theme of animals and is divided into four distinct areas, namely "Terrestrial Habitats", "Wetland Habitats", "Flying Animals", and "Nature and Us". It aims to showcase the diversity of animal life across various habitats. The exhibition features 35 animal specimens and over 100 insect specimens provided by the Hong Kong Biodiversity Museum at the University of Hong Kong. In addition to the specimens, the exhibition also includes an aquarium showcasing three relatively common freshwater fish species found in Lantau Island.
