Briefing on the Sustainable Lantau Blueprint at Discovery Bay

2017.09.23

A briefing on Sustainable Lantau Blueprint organized by the Civil Engineering and Development Department was held at Discovery Bay on 23 September 2017.

Over 50 residents, among some 8,000 households in Discovery Bay (with invitations sent), attended the briefing. 9 participants submitted the opinion forms and all of them spoke out or had their opinions read out by the facilitator. Around 20 participants used the simultaneous interpretation service provided.

Opinions collected mainly focused on the impacts to Discovery Bay brought by the East Lantau Metropolis (ELM) including population, environment and transportation. Others are related to issues such as conservation and traffic and transport facilities, etc.

A list of the detailed comments received is appended here.

We value your feedback. All those views and comments received will be studied thoroughly.

We hope to see you soon in the coming events.
