Logo Design Competition for Development and Conservation of Lantau

This logo is formed by a line in which the rounded corners and the green part of the grass are in the shape of a mountain, representing the conservation of Lantau; and the angled and dark grey part is the shape of the building, which represents the development of Lantau. Both are formed by the same line, which means that both the conservation and development of Lantau are indispensable. In addition, the part of the grass green end that penetrates the dark gray part reflects the direction of the integration of conservation into the development projects in Lantau. Finally, the overall design of the logo with "the mountain on the left and building on the right" looks like the Chinese character "嶼". It is hoped that those who see the logo would know that the development and conservation are conducted for Lantau.
