The Civil Engineering and Development Department signed a consultancy agreement of about HK$70 million on 17 November 2021 with P&T Architects and Engineering Limited for carrying out design and construction for the open space development of about 25 hectares in Tung Chung New Town Extension (East).

The consultancy is scheduled for completion in 2028.
